Rules and Guidelines

 

Lumberjack Days ’08 is scheduling its first ever Stillwater Band Showcase from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. This is an opportunity for local musicians to showcase their talent on the Lumberjack Days “Floating Stage”. There are five performance slots available. Each of the five groups is limited to fifteen minutes of performance time.

 

Band performances must be suitable for viewing by people of all ages. Absolutely no profanity will be tolerated. Use of profanity by any band member will result in that bands performance time being cancelled immediately.

 

The performances are for showcase purposes only and are not to be viewed as competitive. The Lumberjack Days “Band Showcase” Committee will determine what bands are allocated performance slots.   

 

1.         Contemporary Artist Age Range:                               15 to 19

 

2.         The majority of the band members must be residents of the Stillwater School         District.

 

3.         Applications to perform at the Stillwater Band Showcase must include:

 

Name of Band

 

Number of performers in band.

 

Name, address, phone number and age of each band member.

 

Every band member’s year in school and name of school or graduation date and name of school.

 

Band History including list of recent performances and style of music.

 

A CD of the band performing in the last three months.
